Frequently asked questions

How does JPG to PDF conversion work?

Each image becomes one PDF page. Page size follows the image aspect and is fitted to a US Letter maximum. The PDF is built in your browser with pdf-lib and downloaded as images.pdf.

Can I add PNG or WebP files?

Yes. This tool is named JPG to PDF, but PNG and WebP are accepted as extras. HEIC is not supported here; that will be a separate tool later.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. Images stay on your device. pdf-lib runs in the browser and Deskutil never receives the files.

Can I change the order or page orientation?

Yes. Use Up and Down to reorder images. Choose Auto to match each image, or force Portrait or Landscape US Letter pages.

What file do I download?

A single PDF named images.pdf. One page per image, in list order. Nothing is uploaded.
